Other Databases

Below the older GGDC datasets, which have mostly been replaced by newer databases, are presented. With the exception of the dataset by Angus Maddison, these databases are kept on for reference purposes, but are no longer being maintained. Please refer to the 'succeeding database' - listed below the database description - for the latest updates.

Description: The 60-Industry Database is a comprehensive internationally comparable dataset on industrial performance with annual numbers of value added, employment, hours and productivity for the OECD countries and Taiwan.

Description: The ICOP Industrial Database consists of relative levels of productivity and unit labour cost for 20 manufacturing industries for 14 countries in the European Union and the United States.

Description: The IGA Database contains data on labour skills and investment and capital services for Australia, Canada, the US and 4 European countries.

Description: The Historical Statistics Database by Angus Maddison provides statistics on Population, GDP and GDP per Capita for over 200 countries covering a timespan of 2 millennia.
